Tomorrow is Bandcamp Friday

On the first Friday of every month from midnight to midnight Pacific time Bandcamp supports artists by waiving its revenue share on all sales. If you plan to buy something on Bandcamp, tomorrow would be a good choice.

Here are some recommendations:

I wrote about Maja S.K. Ratkje’s COVID-performance for TUSK festival 2020 in a previous post. You can get access to the video of the performance shot by one of Ratkje’s daughters and a friend with your purchase!

Clara de Asis is one of the musically most interesting young composers/performers, whose artistic integrity I admire. The three pieces on Uno Todo Tres are among the most beautiful exercises in silence I know.

Anji Cheung is one of the underestimated greats of post-industrial music. Her entire catalogue is worth a listen, or better several listens, because she makes music in which you will discover new beauties every time you return to it. You can buy her digital discography on Bandcamp (12 releases from 2014 onward) for only £26.60!
